LONDON, ENGLAND (January 12, 2022) – Sherman Theatrical Entertainment Ltd. announces the release of “The Robbie Sherman Songbook,” marking the 100 year anniversary of Sherman family songwriting. The premier “must-have” audition tool for musical theatre performers and enthusiasts, the audio album features 16 tracks from Robert J. Sherman’s theatrical musical catalogue, many of which have been recorded by some of the West End’s most notable stars, including Olivier Award winner Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen) and Olivier nominated Rachel John (Hamilton).
This collection of songs was selected from five musicals written by Robert J. Sherman, including Bumblescratch, Love Birds, and A Spoonful of Sherman, as well as upcoming musical projects The Magic Flute and The Penguin Pirate. A perfect addition to any performer’s musical theatre audition repertoire, The Robbie Sherman Songbook includes songs written specifically for younger characters who possess all the complexity and dimensionality that have come to define the youth of today.
The album was produced by Sherman alongside West End Music Director Mark Warman. Orchestral arrangements were provided by Rowland Lee and Big Band arrangements were created by James Spilling.

LONDON, ENGLAND (November 30, 2021) – Sherman Theatrical Entertainment, a musical theatre and entertainment company, is teaming with MakersPlace, the premier NFT marketplace for digital art to launch themed collectibles drawing from its deep historical archives. The first introduction will be an NFT collection titled INKAS by The Sherman Brothers.
Inkas the Ramferinkas is an original animated musical about a flying dinosaur. The story, songs and characters were created by the Academy Award™ winning Sherman Brothers who are arguably the most successful songwriting team in Hollywood history. The Sherman Brothers wrote song scores for Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Winnie the Pooh and Charlotte’s Web among many others famous titles. Today, their song “It’s A Small World (After All)” holds the record as the most performed song on Earth.
The INKAS by The Sherman Brothers NFT series is comprised of video and song clips from the never-seen-before, original animatic storyboard reel. The premier NFT in the series is a unique (“1 of 1”) video sequence and will be accompanied by an original physical, hand-drawn storyboard drawing from the animatic. The drawing in this series was created by Oscar nominated and BAFTA award winning animator, Tim Watts.
Sherman Theatrical Entertainment will debut the INKAS NFT Collection on December 1 at Nolcha Shows: NFT Edition during Miami Art Week 2021.
Peruvian-American opera singer Charlotte Ushela will be at the event performing melodies from the Sherman Theatrical Entertainment catalogue including “Little No One” from Inkas the Ramferinkas. A portion of the proceeds of the NFT sales will support carbon removal from Nori projects.

Sherman and finance professionals Bret Goldin and Andrew Kaplan announce the formation of Sherman Theatrical Entertainment Ltd., a musical theatre and entertainment company. The new company is poised to bring the award-winning and critically acclaimed theatrical productions of Robert J. Sherman, The Sherman Brothers, and Al Sherman to stage, screen, and streaming. Plans for music publishing and licensing of select songs and projects from the beloved Sherman family legacy portfolio best known for film scores including Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and theme park songs such as It’s a Small World After All are also underway.
Robert J. Sherman serves as Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of the new venture. He continues the family legacy which first made its mark on the industry in 1906 when Robert’s great-grandfather, Samuel Sherman (1871-1948) was appointed conductor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire’s royal orchestra by Emperor Franz Josef II. Samuel’s son, Tin Pan Alley songwriter, Al Sherman (1897-1973) would come to write hundreds of hit songs for iconic artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, and Peggy Lee. Al’s sons Robert B. Sherman (1925-2012) and Richard M. Sherman (1928- ) (aka “The Sherman Brothers”) remain one of the most successful songwriting partnerships in American songwriting history, sharing credits that include Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and It’s a Small World (After All).
Bret Goldin and Andrew Kaplan serve as co-CEOs overseeing business operations and finance. They are also responsible for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and new licensing opportunities.

Sherman stage musicals, Love Birds, Bumblescratch and The Magic Flute; as well as a lost Sherman Brothers animated musical entitled, Inkas the Ramferinkas; and, the publication of The Robert J. Sherman Songbook which includes accompanying videos performed by rising London, West End theatrical talent including 2020 Olivier Award winner, Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen), Rachel John (Hamilton, Girl From The North Country) and Rob Houchen (Les Miserables, The Light in The Piazza) among others. The songbook will be released in early autumn 2021.
